What is your current position and/or the industry you work in?

Higher Education at Sonoma State and Alumni Association Board President

What were your campus involvements at SSU?

I was actively engaged in campus life as a student-athlete on the Sonoma State basketball team, marketing club member, intramurals supervisor, and director of officials. Now, as the Sonoma State Alumni Association Board President, I help foster connections between students and alumni through networking and career development events.

How has Sonoma State made an impact in your life today?

I have spent more time at Sonoma State than I haven't. I arrived in the Fall of 1995 and have never left. My experiences at Sonoma State have made me who I am today. In my time at SSU, I have met so many great people who have made such a powerful impact on my growth, both personally and professionally. Additionally, Sonoma State has given me the opportunity to impact people's lives through the various positions I have held.

What advice would you give to a current student or recent graduate?

My advice is to soak it all in. The SSU community wants to see you succeed so utilize all the resources the institution has to offer and build a network that you can both benefit from as well as pay forward.
