What is your favorite memory or experience at SSU?
One sunny afternoon, we had class outside by the lake. We all sat in a big circle on the grass and one of the geese came to join our circle. Our teacher didn't notice him at first and all of us were laughing. It was really funny!
What brought you to SSU, and what motivates you to stay?
I chose SSU because I love being in the countryside. I volunteer at SERRA horse rescue in Petaluma, which is really close to campus. I love that every time I drive to school, I pass by horses, sheep, and cows. I also have made so many friends here, which motivates me to stay!
Who at SSU has influenced you and/or made a difference in your journey here?
My friend Denise! She is always so positive, cheerful, and supportive.
