What are your campus involvements?
Sonoma Senders (President), Rec Center Climbing Wall (Facilities Supervisor)
What is your favorite memory or experience at SSU?
Having the Press Democrat come to one of our Climbing Club practices. They were able to see and share how much the club has helped many students at SSU!
What has been the most challenging part of your college experience and what did you learn from it?
The most challenging part of my college experience has been being able to adjust to each professor’s teaching style. I used to be a strictly visual-only learner, but as I started taking more classes in college, paying more attention to spoken details, and being able to retain that content has become much easier.
What brought you to SSU, and what motivates you to stay?
The campus is only 15 minutes away from where I live, and with the campus being so close, I am able to go whenever I feel like it. It makes it very convenient!
Who at SSU has influenced you and/or made a difference in your journey here?
I've had great professors and faculty members who have made a big difference in my journey at SSU. Some of them are Reed Mathieson, Mike Dominguez, Bianca Delgado, Mo Phillips, Michael Webb, Poram Choi, Yonjoong Ryuh, and Anthony Vigorito.
